Attorney Leonard M. Crone

Attorneys Crone and AlegiLenny Crone has been practicing law in Waterbury since 1990. He grew up in Bridgeport and graduated from Central High School. Attorney Crone received his Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law. He also holds a Masters Degree in Industrial Relations from The University of New Haven. Attorney Crone primarily handles the defense of those accused of crimes. He deals with all types of criminal cases from drunk driving to murder. In addition, he has handled hundreds of personal injury cases, successfully trying dozens of accident cases. Attorney Crone has argued a number of appeals in front of Connecticut Appellate Court and Connecticut Supreme Court. He is a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar and the Federal District Bar. One of Attorney Crone’s most notable cases includes the successful prosecution of claims against the Hartford Archdiocese involving the molestation of young boys by Roman Catholic Priests.   Attorney Crone sits on the executive board of the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

Attorney Doreen M. Alegi

Doreen Alegi has been practicing law in Waterbury since 2000. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Fairfield University and her Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law.   Attorney Alegi has successfully tried and arbitrated a number of personal injury cases and has effectively battled the insurance giants of All State and Infinity. She also handles criminal defense matters in courtrooms across the state.  Additionally, Attorney Alegi has a busy real estate practice, handling both residential and commercial closings. She also represents individuals and businesses in front of various administrative boards, state agencies and school boards. Attorney Alegi was one of the attorneys who successfully mediated sexual assault claims against priests of the Hartford Archdiocese.  In addition to being admitted to the Connecticut Bar, she is also a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar and the Federal District Bar. Attorney Alegi is actively involved in the community and serves on the board of directors of the Morris Foundation and the Naugatuck Lions Club. She also acts as a pro bono legal advisor for the Ryan Gomes Foundation.
